Hiroshi Kato | "The Anvil" Jacket
The Past Viewed in 3D
This vintage inspired gold corduroy jacket is the definition of understated cool. A thick 8 Wale gives this 100% cotton fabric a more masculine effect, and the wider spacing is reminiscent of vintage corduroy.
One thing that sets this jacket apart from its vintage origins is the fit. “The Anvil” shirt jacket is meticulously crafted from day one using a 3D pattern. Most tops are cut from a two dimensional pattern where the front is sewn directly to the back. “The Anvil” Shirt Jacket introduces the side panels as the third dimension, which allows more control over the shape of the garment, resulting in an impeccable fit.

There’s something about a shirt jacket that just speaks sophistication in menswear. For our Anvil jacket, we took your traditional double panel shirt jacket and turned it into 3 to create a three-dimensional look. Why? This 3D look creates an elevated silhouette giving true shape to the shirt jacket. The shirt jacket is equipped with 4 reinforced pockets, one of which has a dedicated pen holder. To add a little sophistication we use a soft lining inside the neck and on the cuff to add your own flare when you style the Anvil jacket. The shirt jacket features our signature cat eye buttons which were originally used on traditional military garments for durability.
